Swedish association of medical device suppliers changes name to Swedish
2 March 2006
The Swedish Association of Suppliers of Medical Devices has changed its
name to Swedish Medtech. This has been yet another step in the
transformation from a supplier-focused organisation to an organisation
focusing on areas important to the industry such as regulatory issues,
environment and economic affairs and innovations.
Swedish Medtech represents the medical technology industry in Sweden ,
with approximately 140 member companies. The member companies are selling
and producing around 90% of the medical devices and services in Sweden. They
include global and national distributors and manufacturers.
Swedish Medtech will continue to work with supplier-related issues, but
also also constantly work to promote the medtech industry towards
authorities and customers.
