Mobile Blood Savers

Mobile Blood Savers provide an intra-operative cell salvage service to hospitals throughout the UK. Blood Savers provides the equipment and disposables plus an expert operator on a per-case basis.

This enables smaller hospitals to provide the same high standards of transfusion care as the larger NHS hospitals. Cell Salvage has proven benefits to the patient including reduced hospital stay, reduced risk of infection and elimination of the greatest risk of a donor transfusion (wrong blood).

Blood Savers Mobile service eliminates the need for hospitals to make a capital outlay, maintain inventory and the need to ensure that their own staff maintain competency.

Available on a one-off, regular or contract basis. Some of our customers use the service for every revision arthroplasty in their hospital, others only for the occasional Jehovahs Witness patient.
